Kate Talbot has been a registered Acupuncturist since 2014 and a herbalist since 2010. With a strong western medicine background, focusing in pharmacology and physiology, she has an unique ability to apply her understanding of western medicine to the practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine. The integration of these two perspectives allows her to integrate acupuncture and herbal medicine into the treatment of western medicine managed conditions. Kate Talbot offers professional, compassionate, and effective care for each of her patients. Graduating from MacEwan University’s Acupuncture Program in 2013, she completed an observer mentorship under Fulin Wang, PhD Epidemiology, MD (China), a 25+ year TCM practitioner. She believes in identifying the root causes of issues as opposed to treating only symptomatically. Managing root causes provides the best opportunity for the resolution of patients’ ailments. Believing in well-constructed treatment plans, with realistic expectations, and honesty are all integral parts of patient treatment, and contribute to her impressive rate of success with her patients.
